The sun rose again this morning,
Casting shadows
But leaving no doubts behind
As the morning dew began its process
Of drying out,
A rooster crowed off in the distance
Signaling the start
Of a new day
A new dawn
And promises
Of less complications
Ahead.

Meanings differ from individual to individual when it comes to poetry. When I wrote this poem, I was making reference to how a new day is dawning in my life since I retired. It's amazing how people try and interpret their own meaning into what others write. Hope this clears up the questions a couple of you came up with since I posted this one.
