Welcome to Flowers On My Side Of The Wall, the ramblings and meanderings of an old hippie, the original RainbowDemon. What you will find here is a veritable plethora of words, views, poems, and short stories. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine. I hope you like what you find within, and hopefully you'll take just a moment and leave a few words in the comments section. With that, hope you enjoy the journey.

Summer of '42
One of my favorite movies from the early 70's is Summer of '42. I'm staying up late watching it, simply because I love everything about this movie. The time, the theme and the innocence.
Such a great movie, some really cool lines, and a surprise you never see coming until it happens. The narration in the movie, especially at the end is totally unforgettable.
I remember seeing this movie for the first time 39 years ago and the effect it had on me. Watching it tonight seems no different than the first time.
What a great movie.
If you've never seen it, make it a point to.
"For each thing we take with us in this life, there is something we must leave behind."
Indeed!
